PIOTRE

Piotre is a French artist born in Caen, trained in Design in Paris. Initially marked by street art, his graphic research evolved towards the figurative influences of Keith Haring, Speedy, André, and the codes of the Bauhaus, but also towards more abstract work on color, in the tradition of Di Rosa , JonOne or Cope2.
Multiplying the supports and cross collaborations, he developed his gaze in both: the profusion of black and white patterns by composing boards halfway between comics and paintings by Hieronymus Bosch, as in a more abstract research around the confrontation between the primary colors, creating the graphic chimeras that inhabit his world.
He envisions his canvases as an endless universe, and approaches the walls as creations integrated into their environment, he constantly questions the borders of our daily life, inviting the viewer to extend the story of his own experience.
